Found in the heart of the stunning Northumberland National Park near Kielder Water, we are a family run 4* ETC / AA country inn with bed & breakfast, offering comfortable accommodation, hearty home cooked food, real ales and wines.
We are situated in a quiet, rural location with plenty of safe, off-street bike parking available.
The Pheasant Inn offers a warm and friendly welcome to all who visit with plenty of free, secure parking available.
We have two comfortable lounge bars that have been lovingly restored, each with original beams, exposed stone walls and cosy open fires in winter - the perfect place to relax!
Our homely restaurant is furnished in mellow pine and enjoys views across the Northumberland countryside.
Enjoy an award winning breakast - lunch time meals are served between 12.00 noon and 2.30pm
Expect delicious home cooked food, local game in season, traditional roasts (house speciality slow roasted Northumbrian Lamb) and simply cooked fresh fish. Evening meals are served between 6.30pm - 8.30pm.;
Right on our doorstep is Kielder Water and Forest Park, perfect for outdoor pursuits. and home to some stunning biking roads. Visit the Observatory, probably the darkest skies in England.
We are ideally placed, for visiting Hadrian's Wall, the historic Northumbrian coastline and the Scottish Borders - the perfect location for a relaxing country break from which to explore all that Northumberland and North East England has to offer.
