The memorial statue of the late great racing hero and son of Hawick Steve Hislop can also be found in the town, and attracts bikers en masse every year.
BMF Bikefest Kelso - held each July - brings bikes, entertainment, music and above all great fun to the Borders. A popular and fun weekend event, with the added bonus of so many glorious biking roads to explore in the process.
