Located only a short 20 minute ride from the centre of Lancaster, Greenbank Farmhouse B&B, Abbeystead is ideally situated for visitors both to the Town and University and those wishing to venture further afield to explore the Lakes and Dales.

Our rooms

All our beautifully appointed rooms are en suite and have television, tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers in addition to lovely views over the surrounding countryside.

We are open all year round and with central heating throughout, you need never fear the cold Lancashire winters (or summers!).

Fantastic touring base

We are ideally situated 5 mins from J33 of M6 but in a peaceful countryside setting. From here you could take in North Wales one day, Cumbria the next and the Yorkshire Dales the day after.

Local, hidden gem

There is a fantastic trip just behind us through the Trough of Bowland aka the Forest of Bowland (this area the best kept secret in the UK so don't tell anyone!).
