Guests are welcome to explore our gardens and orchard or, if you prefer, you can just sit quietly and watch the abundant birdlife. Frequent visitors to our gardens and surrounding fields include roe deer and red squirrels and you may spot a barn owl at dusk, circling the field for food.
All rooms enjoy spectacular views across fields to the village of Eskdale Green and to the fells beyond.
We have ample safe, off-street parking for your motorbikes and a drying room to get any wet kit ready again for tomorrow's ride.
Nearby are some of the highest peaks in the Lake District with Wasdale only a few miles away.
The steep, yet iconic Hardnott pass road which leads to Langdale - well worth a venture during your stay.
For a more leisurely day out, take the miniature steam train to the coast at Ravenglass or further up the valley to the little village of Boot. We are conveniently situated at the end of the lane that crosses the railway at Irton Road Station.

There is a choice of great local pubs and restaurants in the valley offering real ales, bar snacks and meals - wwo are within walking distance of the house with the others a short ride away.
